I pointed out earlier today how one of his comments was rather serious and obvious for a joke thread, since then he has been going into my Aoki thread and calling me an "imbecile" as he like to do.

As has been said previously on this post, it's more a matter of when rather than if.

Overeem will fight in the UFC after the GP, but I think Werdum will also fight in the UFC again as I honestly think he will beat Overeem in the GP.

 

I do want to see how Reem deals with Barnett, I dont think Werdums got the TD's to put Alistair where he wants him

 

Would greatly like to see Velasquez vs Overeem but it doesn't really add up to me. If they were going to spring Overeem early it'd surely have been to rescue UFC 131. Its like Stoo said - who is there for him to fight at the moment?

One has to assume they're going to honour the JDS/Carwin winner getting the next shot (JDS agreeing to take an interim fight/Carwin stepping up at short notice) so Overeem would have to take an interim fight. I guess they could do Overeem vs Mir/Nelson winner but part of me thinks just letting him run the GP table would do better.

Plus I struggle to see how the UFC can make nice with Showtime while also messing around with their tournament. Then again the only reason Overeem was not in the UFC was that he was making good money in K-1 and that's obviously not the case now.
