We're dealing with a fighter who's best win is far better than any win on Cains record. Has Barnett shown clear signs of decay in his fights since? Going by his two fights in 2010 (as many fights as Cain btw, who you seem to be implying is super active), the answer is clearly no


A lot will depend on what happens next. if Barnett is quickly eliminated and Cain beats JDS then he can be ranked higher, likewise if JDS beats Cain and Barnett does well then obviously Barnett deserves to be higher

But as it stands Cain has not yet done enough to be ranked higher than Josh

 

Barnett should not be ranked higher than Cain, he's fought nobody's since pride, beebs is right, Cain may not av great wins but there better than josh's recent ones! Stop living in the past!

 

Overreem managed to combined the 2 underlinded points in 1 fight with Mirko and Duffee is the rookie so he's justifiably higher than Cain.
hehe Just playing, good points on the rest of your post but Barnetts comp is worse than Cains in the last 2 years or so. Like you said though we'll wait till the tournament kicks off and JDS V Cain :thumbsup

Cain hasnt done enough and hasnt fought anyone of worth (apart from Nog who was already out of his Prime). Brock isnt what I would call a worthy fighter, the guys has limited submission and limited striking, in addition to a so so cardio and a low tolerance for getting hit.
