People say that Tire Iron Jones was overrated, although I happen to disagree with them. The NC with Brian London was a knockout, and the BBBofC darn well knows it.

It is a common misconception to believe that the "London" on Tire Iron Jones' record refers to Brian but it actually refers to the entire capital of England.

Similarly, the city of Tokyo's last name is "Douglas."

Most people just don't appreciate what a challenge Mike faced in the ring that night.

The more I think about it, a big one for me was Michael Nunn.
After he beat Frank Tate, Roldan and then sparking Kalambay, I really rooted for him to be the next great thing. The media hyped him and then slammed him for being cagey against Barkley and Starling….and he responded by being super aggressive in his fight with Toney. It was working too until he got nailed.
