    Ray Austin vs Wlad

Pete Radamacher vs Floyd Patterson - Pete was the 1956 olympic gold medalist match against Patterson for the championship in his debut. To his credit rRadamacher did knock Patterson down in the 2nd, but was dropped 6 times himself before the fight was stopped in the 6th.

Pete Radamacher vs Zora Folley - Pete got clobbered by Patterso in his debut. Who's brilliant idea was it to put him in with world class Folley in his second fight? Pete was demolished in 4.

Yes very good.. Ray wasn't nearly prepared for what Wladimir had ready for a standing target like him..

Pete also.. He was a fab amateur .. but a non entety and unknown quantity at Professional level..

They were both silly publicity stunt wild card fights....

I agree with both but remember Pakau exposing Williams limitations..

Paul couldn't get rid of Pakau..

Ray Austin didn't exatcly "Reign Hell" on Wlad Klitschko as he predicted.
More like Wlad tied right hand behind his back and knocked out Austin using left hand only.

Bit of a strange one; but how about Daniel Reyes v Edgar Cardenas?

Cardenas was the champion, but Reyes pinged him all over the ring and it was a VERY late stoppage. Commentators were going mad at ringside calling for the fight to be waved off.

    Cardenas: very brave

The corner, the referee and the doctor: not brave enough.

oleg maskaevs early career is disgraceful for an average boxer
jorge luis vado - terry norris
loads of south east asia mismatches.

adrian dodson - winky wright...totally otuboxed and outhustled

garry delaney - bruce scott was horrible mismatched.
bruce scott is englands answer to bert cooper. a tough aggresive windmill fighter with dinamite in his fists...sadly not to skilled and didnt have the conditioning. but didnt matter he brutally slaughtered garry to no mercy.

Very true. Seems to be that whenever one of their world champions loses his title they let him feast on some novices for a few fights to get his confidence back up again.
