    How the **** can you be overrated and underrated. Are you trying to say the fighter was overrated but should have been super overrated, therefore not having the super title makes him underrated ? Like the WBA belt system?

    You're thinking of underrated emeritus status, which is a different but identical concept.

    Probably Sugar Ray Leonard. It seems many people think he is overrated including myself, but at the same time has wins over Benitez, Duran, Hearns, and Hagler, not just all time greats, but among the GREATEST fighters to ever put on boxing gloves.

    Now I get the topic. Its a question of fighters whose perception actually fluctuates. Sometimes overrated, sometimes underrated.

    We have a clear winner for that. Epitome of variation:
