Overrated or just a bad day

Some fighters are overrated but I think that the word is overused. Its like if any fighter suddenly losses in a fight where he is a favourite then he is overrated all of the sudden. If he gets knocked out than he automatically has a glass chin. What happened to just having a bad day or styles makes fights etc.

And bonus question: Are there any fighter that the majority in here likes? There are a lot of pac, floyd, roy, pavlik, calzaghe-haters etc. But is there a boxer that is likeable by most?

Dimitry Salita could have had a bad day, got caught early, etcetera - think of JMM when he fought Pac, went down three times early but came back to actually be quite dominant in the later stages.

If the result is 12 rounds of getting your ass kicked and being powerless to stop it - no such thing as a bad day.
