People would rave on and on about David Haye’s hand speed. One writer said “Haye is easily the fastest heavyweight since a prime Muhammad Ali” (a commentator also said this during one of his fights). I laughed at this ridiculous claim, so naturally the geniuses in the general forum just said I’m anti-British. His great handspeed was limited to single shots, particularly the right hand. His combos were not especially fast. They lacked fluidity and were sloppy. There’s a whole lot of HWs whose hand speed impressed me more than Haye, since they were limited to single shots.
