:D You got your desired result! - :fire:fire:fire

I was in the middle of writing a serious response when I saw your Katsidis comment and realized this was a wind-up.

Hmmm. I'd say no, because that kind of takes the fun out of it, as obviously every single wrong decision is automatically an underrated win then, as none of them are generally considered to be wins now.

    Agree completely.

I don't know anyone who rates Marquez-ancient Casa, Marquez-Diaz or Leonard-Lalonde particularly highly I must say. From what I've seen, all of these decent/good wins are rated appropriately.

But it isn't smart to stand and "fight to the death" with Foreman so to speak so he didn't. He outsmarted him making him pay yet he still was taking punishment along the way. Even Holyfield fought a disciplined fight for the most part against Foreman.

I think he's very good and had/has great ability but I don't rate him as a great or an ATG. C'mon Floyd, the WW division heats up and you retire to go on a vacation? Your best wins recently were a shot Mosley & an old DLH but they both were a year or more inactive before you fought them? You beat a LW in JMM trying to "prove a point" against Pacquiao yet failed to realize Pacquiao and JMM are closer to the same weight and you come in over the weight you previously agreed on for Marquez? Your best win at 140 is who? Gatti? You deserve a big :patsch Floyd you really do. He had/has GREAT ability but has been crapping up his career post-Castillo.

I think everything you are saying is correct. Maybe I do have to re-evaluate where I place FMJ after all... :think

definitely I think it was the best comeback of the year only others I can think of were marquez coming back from a hard kd to stop katsidis, classic marquez overcoming trouble and maybe maidana vs khan, eventhough he didnt won he still made a impressive comeback in the later rounds and was very very close of getting khan stopped.

Yeah he is the most overrated fighter of recent times but it's his fault he's taken the cherrypicking choices for all these years now. I have been a critic of Pacquiao's recent fights but I'll layoff criticism on his next fight depending on how JMM looks but anyways he has taken FAR more challenges in his career than Floyd and no question he's greater than Floyd. It just shows how fanboys make things how they want to see them when saying "Floyd is greater":rofl. It's actually quite funny. Pacquiao IS great/an ATG and has proved that very long ago.

Nah it's definitely Hopkins/Pascal 1 so far imo. Marquez was already up on the cards before the kd but he was hurt and recuperated like his usual self after the kd. JMM was only down once and he wasn't in his opponent's hometown when that happened. Hurting Khan and winning the later rounds is what made it close also considering Khan's crap footwork. All performances were quality from each man.

To say Mayweather is overrated means you dont know **** about boxing!!! and Pac hasnt tooken way more challanges then Floyd. Just because Mayweather makes all his fights look easy doesnt mean he's no taking any challenges. Fighting Genaro at 21 was a huge challenge, fighting a guy 5 inches taller and KO everybody out (Corrales) was a huge challenge. moving u in weight and fighting Lineal champ at 135 (Castillo) in his first fight at that weight with no tune up was a huge challenge.

Now im not saying pac didnt take any but to say he took far more is a dumb ass commenet Bro:hi::hi:

How long ago was that? Did Corrales not look like a zombie? Were Floyd's best wins of recent times not against two older, inactive men in Mosley & DLH? I'm not saying he isn't/wasn't a great talent, he is/was. Castillo gave him hell. He's overrated and hasn't shown us much post-Castillo. Very good, not great.

Overrated - Valero-DeMarco - Just recently this win has been vastly overrated. From this performance, Valero would apparently have went on to knock out the very top level 140lbers, then move up to Welterweight, in turn making it look "easy" when he would have picked up a WW belt. Also, probably giving Mayweather and Pacquiao their hardest fight to date.

Underrated - Controversial one here...Abraham-Dirrell - Many thought Dirrell was going to fold, and to be fair, Abraham was starting to get through to Dirrell...but he was being outclassed for long periods of the bout. The controversial, and shite ending blacks out this good performance from Dirrell. Froch's dominant performance was more impressive, but Dirrell kind of showed the way.

This fight definitely deserves consideration for the reasons mentioned.
