I think that a lot of people are very confused about the weight thing. Hatton was not weaker at welter than he was at 140. if anything he was stronger he was just weaker than the other guys in the division. I don't think he was at a size disadvantage with Floyd, hell floyd started 2 weight classes lower than hatton and only about 2 years before people talked about how Hatton was the bigger guy. Size and weight had absolutly 0 part to do with Floyd's win over hatton.
He was weaker in comparison to other 147lbs. Basically his body frame + style of fighting means that the extra weight does absolutely nothing for him at all. And if he can't bully opponents...
Sorry, but Calzaghi over Hopkins. Bernard schooled him, but you cannot give a guy the fight throwing so few punches. Bernard lost that fight more than Calzaghi winning it. Trinidad over DeLahoya. Oscar was schooling him too and this was clearly a loss because he coasted the last couple of rounds. PBF over DeLahoya - not the fight everyone expected. PBF did just enough, although I thought Oscar pressed the fight. Oscar lost because he should have just done more.
Agreed. But in Floyd we are not talking about a Margarito or a Collazo or any other big welter. Floyd is avery small welter who moved to the weight to chase bigger money fights and as I said only 2 years before was considered smaller than Hatton. Floyd is able to compete at welter because he is way above hatton in terms of skill not because he is bigger. Hatton was not able to bully fooyd because floyd developed a plan to prevent it (stick your elbow in his throat and move out of the way and counter) not because floyd is bigger. There would have been no difference whatsoever in outcome if the fight had taken place at 140 or any catchweight or anything. Floyd is the better fighter plain and simple.
I agree but even the delusional people that agree with the decision agree that it was not a very good win for Tito.
The obvious answer is for most overrated win has to be when roberto duran cheated against the best ever lightweight ken buchanan.
Calzaghe v Hopkins and Trinidad v De La Hoya were wins over great fighters, but they were not overrated wins as anyone who saw the fights know that the 'winners' did not perform well at all, were very fortunate to get the decision, and therefore those particular wins have not been highly rated at all by the boxing community, despite the calibre of the opposition.
Roberto Duran was winning up until to the lowblow and would have surely gotten the decision. There should have been a rematch though.

As a Hatton fan the only reason i talk about it is the perfect body shot as would i about any boxer fighting any other boxer
There is no significance to the fact that Mayweather started his career at a lower weight than Hatton. Every body and every individual is different. Mayweather's body can cope with fighting at 147, Hatton's cannot, simple as that. James Toney can cope with fighting at heavyweight, I am pretty sure Sugar Ray Robinson could not. Bernard Hopkins can cope with fighting top level opposition in his 40s, Roy Jones Jr cannot. That does not mean that Toney and Hopkins are better fighters, just that they as individuals and individual body types are different. That's not to say Hatton is better than Mayweather, of course he is not, but what I'm saying is it must be accepted that he has never looked remotely comfortable fighting at welterweight, and if you forced even greats like Robinson or Jones to compete at a level that they or their bodies could not cope with, they would be far weaker as a result. Ricky was. Hence, an overrated win. Had PBF beat Hatton at 140 or took on a genuine 147 fighter like Cotto or Margarito, it would have been far more impressive as it would have been fighting someone without a definite disadvantage.
