Because you have no clue! Helenius had big problems with his right hand in his last fights! His right hand was his best punching hand! So it is normal that he dont looks good when he only has one hand left in a fight! To say a boxer is awful just because he has injury after injury is stuipid. Sorry
There is a difference between overrated and overachieving. I think to watch Martin Murray box and to see him draw with sturm and be given the chance to box Martinez he is massively overachieving given his boxing skills( no disrespect he is a solid pro) where as fighters like heffron before his loss were over rated. I think with a lot of fighters they can become overrated through no fault of their own a prime example is frampton, it's not his fault mcguigan can't keep his mouth shut
John Conteh had terrible hands but he adapted, Helenius hasn't adapted, hence, terrible fighter....or at least one dimensional. I don't think that Martin Murray is overrated, if anything he has slipped completely under the radar
darren barker deserves a mention. If it wasn't for all his injuries he would be champion blah blah blah
What do you mea with adapted? Helenius is a puncher wihtout his power punching hand... His right hand was his strongest punching hand! So how should he look like if he cant fight with this hand? How should he "adapt"? How should a puncher adapt without his powerful hand? Helenius looks very good when he is healthy! He looks not terrible at all! No to say he is a terrible fighter just because he has injury is stuipid for me Sorry. I really hope he can fix his problems and show the world what he can do! This content is protected This is his hand after the Sprott fight! Directly after the hand it looked even worse! It was swollen more and even blue! Helenius said from round two that he cant punch with his right hand!
wich weight class? Man a puncher slapping with his punching hand? In the heavy weight division? Helenius was a big puncher! until his right hand got injury after injury. Now Helenius is a puncher without his strong punching hand. of course he dont looks good! But it is stuipid to say he is awful because of that! When he is injury free he is a good heavyweight contender.
Harsh to say Danny McIntosh is overrated. He's done very well for himself with what seems like a very average skill set. Becoming european champ was a great achievement for someone who domestic level at best.
Can't agree with the bolded. Nobody rates Chavez really. I haven't seen anyone big up Frampton to the extent where they're saying he'd beat the better fighters in the division. People acknowledge the fact he needs time to progress and still I haven't seen anyone say he'll clean out the division or anything. A world title is definitely achievable by him IMO, haven't seen anyone claim more than that. Amir Khan is underrated if anything now. A year or so back he was overrated, now he is written off basically. He's still a good fighter at the top level and he would cause a fair few world level fighters problems. I haven't seen him backed 100% in any matchups against the top 140lb fighters, I can't see where the overrating is there. The others I agree totally with, good shouts.
Berliner,to see what Icemax means I suggest you take a look at his fights. For a large part of his career Conteh had bad hands.I once saw him beat Yaqui Lopez, who had fought everybody in the division, with some success, with one hand virtually from the start. For me,theres just a difference in class between the 2 fighters. Regarding overachieving,Id go for Ricky Burns.Never would have thought a man who lost to Carl Johannson so clearly would go on to beat the men he did, starting with the Puerto Rican. Not in any way criticising Carl but IMO he's not quite world level.Guess Burns started young and learned on the job,a worthy champion. But not Broner level IMO.
