The media rate Chavez Jr, if you listen to HBO they make out like he's the greatest fighter who ever lived. Frampton I think is overrated by Sky and Barry McGuigan. They make out like he's ready for a world title now and that he's absolutely amazing. He's not. He's a very good fighter with potential and a lot going for him, but he's not world class, not yet anyway. Before Martinez he'd fought no-marks. Beating Kiko by KO was a great win but it doesn't mean his **** doesn't stink whatsoever.

I take your point with Amir Khan. 12-18 months ago he was the most overrated fighter on the planet. Has no boxing brain and not amazing power. He was just lightning fast and picked his punches very well. It's not correct to write him off as just a glass-chinned no-hoper now but I do think he'd be beaten by either Matthyse or Garcia. I think he'd be absolutely killed if he moved up to 147lbs, too many big punchers in the division.

Good shout whoever said Paul McCloskey. He's another one Sky rated to the moon before he was exposed.

As a scouser I've heared a lot of hype about Joe Selkirk too, with Bellew saying he's the most naturally talented boxer he has ever seen and all that. Every time I have seen him though I have wandered whether I was watching the same person? Literally not impressed at all. I know he has suffered a lot with injuries like but I do hope he eventually does live upto his potential because I'm sure hes about 28 now

    Danny Garcia is outrageously overrated

Amir Khan lost the fight for himself, throwing the same shot whilst getting beaten up doesn't tell me that someone is a great fighter. The Erik Morales fight only tells us that he shouldn't of come out of retirement.
