Not at this stage in Mosley's career. Who knew Shane would almost KO himself from exhaustion in the first round? Shane needs to retire. I guess those rumours about him getting his ass whooped in sparring by nobodies were true.

    Yup.

Manny has the determination to step on the gas when he sees openings which in all fairness will be more plentiful than Mosley's openings. Manny is faster and more reflexive than Mosley who is of course past his prime (was before and after the fight).

I honestly did not expect Mosley to touch Mayweather like he did in the 2nd. To me that looked like Mayweather slipped a bit in his ability. He got cocky and overconfident. He knew what he had in front of him but almost paid a steep price.

Over the last 3-4 fights, Manny has shown he is really the only guy who can crack Mayweather. I think he'll do it as well.

Thank you and again I am not making excuses. But I work out and I'm in good shape but at my age in a full calender I have seen my weight go up and down. U have to be a rat to stay in shape and Mayweather is, I do not know about Mosley but u can not tell me @ 38 this dude is still 147. He had to make weight. No way he is walking around at 147 lbs. If he wants to continue to fight he needs to go up to 54 or possible a 160 pounder.

agreed, i found it out of character for mayweather to try and trade with mosley which was a bad call and could have cost him the fight. pacquiao is much more ackward than mosley and is a southpaw, not to mention has speed, which is why paquiao will be able to land on mayweather. if you look at the marquez fight marquez got yo land some flush rights on mayweather, especially when throwing in combinations, mosley did the same by distracting him with the jab then coming over with the right. paquiao uses his footwork and combinations to land his punches, i think this would present problems for floyd, just as all other fighters pac has faced. i dont think floyd is as durable in the chin dept as some want to believe and i think that would be his achilles heel should he choose to fight pac.

Floyd brings all that negativity on himself, but that's neither here nor there. He looked incredible last night.

Commentators are supposed to call the action, they aren't supposed to continually bash the participants. Mayweather is fighting the big fights, he's fighting the guys people want to see him fight, and he's dominating in the process. For Merchant to call him a dodger and suggest that he's overrated and hasn't fought anyone is out of line. Merchant was completely unprofessional last night. That can't be argued.

If you've seen enough Mayweather fights, you would notice that he is more likely to get hit clean within the first few rounds than any other rounds. Not only in this fight did it happen, but it also happened in the Marquez fight, the Judah fight, the Hatton fight, and the Corley fight. If your going to catch him it has to be early.

I felt that if Mayweather got through the first few rounds he would win easy. With Mosley's power, he had a better chance to do something than any other fighter out there. The problem is, it's almost impossible to land the second punch, because he closes up so well after the first shot gets in. He seems to need at least a couple of rounds to get completely acclimated to his opponents since he doesn't watch tapes. After that, it's over.

Merchant is a POS and should be banned form doing PBF fights. It's obvious he has an axe to grind with PBF.

he tried that route before and failed miserably, go back and review his record at 154lb and you'll see Dismal is an understatement for his performance there.

I thought Steward said he doesn't think Manny will fare any better after the fight. I think he used his line, a good big man beat a small good man. I watched it a friend's house so I'm not 100% on that.

Delahoya and Castillo had the right gameplan against Floyd. Roach designed a perfect stratgey, DH just did not have the stamina to throw the jab on a consistant basis.

I don't know what the heck Mosley was trying to do, staying in the centre of the ring and box with Floyd, nobody can outhink or outspeed Floyd in the centre of the ring.
