Round 3 McKenzie is walking Askin down and clapping down with the right hand. Askin puts his left arm out horizontally to screen out the punches, then uses movement to escape McKenzie's range. Very little offense from Askin. Uppercut by Askin while turning McKenzie, instantly tying up and smothering McKenzie in the center of the ring after buzzing him. Askin shoves off and clubs with a right, then clinches again. Another shoving punch by Askin, more of a shove, and McKenzie is dumped on the seat of his trunks. Dismissive wave by the ref, not a knockdown. Wide looping right by McKenzie, telegraphed and missing. Askin is poking his jab into the pinky side of McKenzie's gloves, staying too far out to actually chance landing with it on his face. McKenzie is stalking and falls in, passing a McKenzie right hand like two ships in the night, landing a counter right on the jaw. 10-9 Askin 29-28 McKenzie
Round 4 McKenzie is getting force-fed karate-chop double-jabs as Askin dashes in, then places a right hand on his way out, backing up in straight lines but unsanctioned as McKenzie needs a moment to regroup from each assault. McKenzie is rocked by a 1-2. McKenzie rushes in, left arm low, shooting up rocket jabs at the face. Askin bobs and weaves backing up all the way to the ropes, then ducks and dives in, grabbing McKenzie about the waist. 10-9 Askin 38-38
Still doing the same and Askin starting to be more comfortable round after round. Mckenzie too predictable, its not working..
