Keita Nakamura vs. Alex Morono - 3 rounds at Welterweight

 

Clean sweep for the Japanese so far. Including a 2-0 run against South Koreans. Dong Hyun Kim has a chance to reduce the deficit to 2-1 should he come through as expected against the badly faded Gomi. But IDK.. There's that feeling in the air, the Japanese might just pull upset after upset and sweep the card.

 

Morono is the favorite, but as Hardy pointed out this will probably be a tough night for him win or lose.

 

Unfortunately this will probably be the case.

 

10-9 Nakamura very close. Did almost nothing and was pressured the entire round, but landed the better strikes of the two by far.

 

10-9 Morono close. Nakamura is fighting very well from the backfoot.

 

Nakamura is such a savvy veteran. Very underrated fighter.

 

10-9 Nakamura 29-28 Nakamura.

 

29-28 Nakamura, 29-28 Morono and 29-28 Nakamura. Nakamura wins a SD.

Nothing wrong with that decision. Morono only has himself to blame. Was outsmarted by the savvier fighter.
