Owen "What the Heck" Beck weighed in at 232 lbs for his fight against undefeated knockout artist David Rodriguez (34-0 with 32 knockouts) tomorrow night. Looks like he is taking this one seriously. Rodriguez weighed in at 250 1/4 lbs for this one. This could be a good scrap while it lasts. I wish it was televised. Beck is at a much better weight here and will be a lot more mobile as a result. Here is a good article that shows that Beck is motivated and ready to rumble:

Well lets see if Rodriguez is at least as good as Alex Leapai.

Rodriquez finally steps up, nice...He looks like he hasn't really progressed past a fairly crude brawler though, at least last time I saw him fight...Kinda reminds me of a younger butterbean with a few more skills...

rodriguez sure has a great ko percentage but the guy has been fighting since 1998 and this is his stiffest test to date?? that's pretty suspect. how does that even happen? at least beck obviously has balls and ambition to fight decent comp, so i'll be pulling for the upset so he can make a little more money before hopefully calling it a day soon

I like Beck. He's fallen off in recent years, but I hope he comes back strong and sets himself up for a bigger fight.

Ah what the heck, war beck!

    :smoke

Eh, I'll be cool if Rod keeps is undefeated record in tact, so it can make another heavyweight title fight look interesting on paper (assuming he ends up getting a belt shot before being destroyed by a title holder)

they've been babying Rodriguez, I bet he doesn't have good whiskers :yep

Beck is a huge step-up since Rodriguez has only fought Glass Chin Bums...

his record is loaded down with Tomato Cans :patsch

they're trying to build him up to get KTFO for a big PayDay

he's so bad even Beck has a shot but it's in the guys backyard...

so he'll have to Knock him out in front of his hometown fans :dead

if he survives Beck then they should feed him...

    ... to Arreola :dead
