I've got to say it - PBF's win over Castillo is ****ing overrated in a huge way.

 

It's not that Manny beat those guys, it's that he beat the **** out of those guys in a manner not done before or since.

Manny made great champions look like defenseless babes out of the crib.

 

Pacman lost to morales and went life and death with marquez...the point is, he fought them and they are the best in that time....meanwhile, pbf didnt even fight either margarito, mosley or cotto..he fought judah and baldomir instead...

 

I agree about the Erik Morales thing.

Manny never faced him while coming off a win.

The first Barrera fight was a HUGE victory. So was the first fight with JMM who I had Pac winning.

Pac's resume is definitely greater but not as much as it's made out to be by some.

Well why face Judah instead of Baldomir right away once Judah lost ? That was a joke too.

You can make an argument that Mayweather's resume is close to being on par with Pacquiao's but it certainly doesn't surpass it by any means...

He faced Judah because one, he couldn't find a replacement. And two, HBO wanted to give Baldomir more exposure before fighting Floyd.

The truth coming from a big Mayweather fan, Congrats !! If Mayweather convincingly beats Mosley, then I would give him the edge for the time being.

Facing Morales was seen as big because of his name, and in name only at that time.

Raheem would of been the better victory by far.

 

I disagree. Morales was still the better talent, therefore better win, whether he won or lost previously.

I would always give more consideration for a fighter beating Mike Tyson instead of Buster Douglas, even after taking into account their common history.

Pac beating Morales was okay/good. Morales was clearly past it.

We'll have to agre to disgree then cause for me Morales wasn't past it as much as you may believe.

Fact for me remains that Morales was a much better overall boxer than Raheem, even at that point in their careers.

I don't see how Morales was a better overall boxer when he got the **** beat out of him at by him. Then went on to be destroyed by pac twice.
