Is there any betting sites here in Aust, that allow you to bet on most of the american fights?
Fights that are not major like the Clottey and the Yuir foreman fights that were just on?
As Sportsbet do not do alot of them?

Anyone know how much Calzaghe is paying for the win?

I'm thinking of putting $500 on him to win. I feel it's very likely, and it might just pay ok.

$1.40. Hmm. Not really worth it, is it?!

I might put some coin on Kessler in the rematch with Mundine. I reckon he might be paying something like $1.70 or there abouts. guys like Johnny Lewis, Roy Jones Snr, ect will come out and say that Mundine can beat hiom, that and the fact that Kessler lost his last fight should be enough to influence the bookies into thinking Mundine is somewhat of an alright chance.

You are assuming that the bookmakers will give you a price because mug punters will back Choc. The big players bet with their heads, not their hearts and all of the major opperators have clients overseas that will snap up any overs on Kessler.

I'm fairly sure he'll win again as well, but I reckon the odds will be way more even next time around. Nrgetic and I were discussing this a while ago. We basically came to the conclusion that when it comes to boxing, the Aussie bookies are a bit less informed than in other sports, and if theres media support for Mundine (and there will be many people coming out and saying that he'll win) then there will be decent odds on a Kessler win.

Haggis was saying before that Tua was a slight favourite against Lewis over in NZ.

Couldn't be futher from the truth.

This is big business we're talking about. These guys employ specialist in every field and have well informed connections. They're in it to win, not as a welfare charity.

It's all about beating the odds as you know, and media, ect do influence the betting, and I think a Kessler win would be paying better than what the odds really would be.

Basically what I'm saying is that most people will think that Mundine's chances of victory are better than what they really are. They'd probably have him at something like 40%, when in reality, or imo at least, he'd be something around 15%, or 20% at the very best.

Yeah i do not think Kessler would be at $1.70 against choc, Choc barley won any rounds on the official cards last time, i see kessler at lower odds.

Also does anyone here use betfair?
