It is closer than most would think sure, but I agree H2H Sanchez wins.

Sorry man, I got Hearns one spot ahead of Hagler, I think. Thing is, Hearns has wins from 147 to HW, titles from 147 to Cruiser.

Imagine Margarito wins title at MW, SMW, LHW and a bauble at Cruiser? Although Cruiser is a different weight now than then, but still.

Anyway - it's close, but I have Hearns just above.

Excellent list. I'll add also that you've made a number of quality threads over the past month or two. Keep it up.

Salvador Sanchez is such an interesting case.... Man, to die at 23(?) after showing SO MUCH promise....

It is very close. I think Marvin doesn't get a fair shake sometimes because he was strictly a MW.

Not much you can do really iceman, Heard steve Bunce going on about Harry Greb and there being no footage of his fight's. So Sometime's you have to read about some of these guy's. Langford is another one, i haven't found much footage of him, but he will be in a lot of people's top tens.

In the last few year's with the Internet it's been like Christmas for hardcore boxing fan's, There are Hundred's of legendary fight's avalible so we can see Joe Louis, SRR or Gene Tunney, my personal favorite old timer being Carmen Basillio.

To get an unbiased top 100 that's not stuffed with modern fighter's is going to be hard and take a lot of hard work and study so fair ****'s to you DINAMITA.

I would struggle to post my own top 100, in fact my top 20 change's almost monthly now.:D

You are correct sir. In addition, he WAS a middleweight, there was none of that weight-making **** Hearns did. Not big enough for 175, not getting down. He was what he was. If you were doing a pound for pound badass list, top 15 lock.

    Nice list
    Brave too
I dont think I could do a list that went past 20 fighters, because once you get past those initial guys that fans generally agree are always up there, emotions begin to run far to high.

Good effort, nice to see Calzaghe in there. Whoever mentioned Beau Jack has a good point, but it's not exactly a glaring omission, and you can certainly justify each person on the list meriting a place ahead of him without being too controversial.
