Is there a big difference between the two materials? I wanna buy some sparring gloves, but I'm on a bit of a budget. I'll pay extra if it's really worth it, but I'm just a beginner to boxing and don't really wanna come into sparring with some fancy ass gloves looking like I'm king of the gym.

    Are these any good?

I have these - they are VERY RIGID.. Not hard, just not really a glove, more a hand to put your hand in.. Ie. the top of the glove will hardly change if u make a fist or keep your hand more open.

They are decent gloves and very durable though. The stitching has come out in the plam of my right hand after constant use for about 1 year, but it makes no diff to the performance of the glove.
