Let's be honest Peterson got him far...................the Mayweathers, Roach, and Manny Steward could have made him a legend!!!!!
If Williams learned to use his physical attributes correctly, he'd be almost unbeatable at the weight classes he is operating in. He's a lot bigger than everyone about him, and he's a good boxer as well. However, he hasn't. I think Steward would be great for Williams.
I read in a magazine that Peterson does no boxing technique and only 45-60 rounds of sparring before a fight.
Paul is lanky but poorly coordinated. He's done the most with what he has. His stamina and ability to take a good shot and give a good shot really took him a long way, but I think now that he's been put down hard he will need to seriously re-think his career and how he wants to approach it. He doesn't have an abundance of power and his footwork will never be the best, so he will never be able to use his size to its full advantage. I think he did well for himself and there are still some good fights for good money out there for him.

Even though Williams and Peterson have a great relationship, i think it's time for these 2 to go seperate ways.
He needs a new trainer now,one who will concentrate on defence.I dont think he will ever be the same fighter though.If he takes a rematch straight away he will lose again.It might not be by KO but he would lose,it would be like when Taylor fought Pavlick the 2nd time.
