I agree. You have to remember that fighters are as exciting as their opponents let them be as well. Give the dude time- if people don't wanna face him that's not his fault. I said the other day that maybe Dawson @ 168 could be a possibility for Williams. In a way, they need each other. He'll probably end up fighting someone like Spinks, though- and it's not his fault. If he doesn't take on Pacquaio, then Mosley should take the fight with Williams, IMO.

you know those hundreds of punches he throws in a round, alot of those are arm punches.

his style just doesn't do it for me for some reason, he is all over the place and has a weird stance.

Williams is not at all boring, but can look boring vs. someone who tries to kill the action and nullify the reach advantage.

Thing is with Williams, and I think it'll be the case for the next few years, that he'll look like a top3 P4P fighter in one fight, and a fairly one-dimensional dude with freak physical gifts in another. Just watch his and Caballero's last 6, ups and downs. It ultimately depends on the opponent, how well he can adapt to the unusual.

If Williams is feared and avoided, how did he manage to fight 6 times in 2 years? This crap about Williams being feared and avoided is THE single most ridiculous myth in all of boxing.

Anyone hyped as "feared" is just hype and nothing else, the Margarito fiasco should be a good lesson for people that didn't see through it or know about it.

Williams will eventually get the big paydays as long as he stays active. In boxing you can FORCE certain fights if you want them, that's what he did to get Margarito in the ring.

No. The single most ridiculous myth in boxing is that Kelly Pavlik is some big, powerful, tough-ass champion. He beat Jermian Taylor. Whoop dee damn doo!

The fact that fighters are ducking Paul is no myth. Pavlik may not have ducked him, but Cotto, Margarito, Shane, Floyd, and plenty of others sure have.
