This guy needs to quit playing games, he now has our interest its rematching Sergio Martinez a guy 80% of the forum had beating his ass

No need to go to 147 to look for opponents that dont exist, you have two waiting for your ass right now Mr most feared! dont think Sergio or Pavlik are fearing your ass at the moment.

Sergio Martinez had to take the fight on short notice and beat his ass. Properly trained that night Will gets KTFO

There was no immediate rematch for Cunningham-Adamek, Pacquiao-Marquez, Berto-Collazo... Seems like it never happens as much as it should for these close fights

Very true. Paul's "most feared" moniker is simply a sham for promotional purposes. Sergio had PW's eyes rolling back into his head on numerous occasions, and though I think very highly of Martinez he's not the hardest hitter at 154 and definetly not at 160. Paul realised that night that there's no way he's taking Pavlik's punches and is running back to 147 so that he can take the hits. It also allows him to say that Mosley, Mayweather and Pacquiao are ducking him when really they won't fight him because he doesn't sell tickets.

Even with one of the judges in his pocket Paul Williams still only mustered an MD against Martinez, a fight that Sergio would have been given the nod for anywhere else in the world. If Paul wants to hold onto his false title he should rematch Martinez (who will defeat in a rematch) and/or fight Pavlik.

so why does Pauli Malianaggi get a rematch and his fight wasnt as clear as any of the ones you mentioned? you have to be connected or have Golden boy Arum or a highprofile team or you basicly get ****ed!

The fighters today are scared shitless to lose their "0". Apparently, if you dont have your "0" , then you can't be a good fighter...

Actually, rematching Martinez (154?) won't go much different. I didn't score by rounds, but it is obvious looking at the two, who lost the 'fight'. The difference in boxing ability was glaring. Paul throws a lot of arm punches. Judges give him rounds for 'making the fight' I guess. The notion there should be a rematch is your assumption the judges will get it right this time. If I were Martinez I wouldn't fight in the states again. Cintron and Williams 'decisions'. I don't see this fight ending inside the ropes.

I have always said I thought Pdub was too small for Pavlik and was afraid he would get seriously hurt.

Immediately after Williams/Martinez I said; "Goossen and Team Williams will use Pavlik's hand problems as an excuse not to fight him." Anyone who is willing to take the time to review the latest information on boxing scene and fanhouse will see that I was correct.

If Goosen ask Top Rank and Team Pavlik to place a reasonable amount of money in an escrow account that PW can have if KP pulled out again, I bet they'd agree to it. Goosen has the right to make that demand. Let's say $500K in escrow. If Pavlik pulls out for any reason, Goosen and William get the $500K. That seems fair to me.

Goosen did not ask for fairness. Instead he demanded a 50/50 co-promotion. He walked away from the terms all parties already agreed to, and demanded something Arum already rejected out of hand. Goosen knows exactly what he is doing, and he is doing it with the approval of Paul Williams and George Peterson.

"Paul Williams, you are not the most feared fighter," Pavlik said. "You've got a guy standing right here in Youngstown who wants you."

Sergio Martinez taps that ass again. Williams knows it thats why you wont see the rematch in the near future.

I agree that PW will not rematch Martinez. I'll be shocked if he does, and I'll give him some props for it, but I do not expect that to happen.

If PW does go back to 147, the most obvious fight would be a rubber match with Quintana. We won't see that either. Goosen is going to keep Williams in protective custody, and then chant "most feared fighter, most feared fighter, most feared fight," blah - blah - blah.

Thing i hate about Williams is that if he loses he demands immediate rematches but never gives rematches. The guy is going down to 147 to impose his size. He cant handle guys his own size.

Williams and his fans are in an indefensible position. Peterson and Williams repeatedly stated that Pavlik would be an easy fight.

A fight with Pavlik would give Williams a career high pay day. It would also give PW a shot at the linear championship of boxings second most prestigious division.

Goosen and Team Williams turned away from "an easy fight," a career high pay day, and the middleweight championship, to go back to 147. You can't defend that without looking like a complete moron.

yooooooooooooooooooooooooo boo radley you make me so ****ing mad dog.... i dont even think you know

paul williams and peterson agree that they are not wasting there time any more with pavlik... i mean seriously... how would you feel if someone delayed not only how you feed yourself & your children but wasted all your time for a whole 2 months... and then came back expecting to give you a shitty ass deal.... its only fair to paul williams & goosen to say they dont feel like wasting their time with kp.. it was totally unprofessional what they (pavliks team) did

goosen said the fight will not happen unless its 50 - 50 split & there is insurance money on the side just incase pavlik pulls some funny ****.. which is also not unrealistic seeing how team pavlik dicked around..

i dont know why you pretend to act like you dont understand why.... if it was the other way around you would be asking for the same type of negotiations.....

if anything you should prey pavlik fights williams.... its the only fight that he can win and get any credit for... anyone else that he fights he will either get beat up horribly against or beat and the win will be irrelevant

    Just make the fight!

For all the Pavlik fans criticise Williams..... he's not the one that faced a WBU level fighter in his previous fight.

Regardless of the problems that he has had, he needs to make a legitimate, world class defence of his linear title. **** the silverware off if necessary.
