This fight appears to almost be a done deal according to Arum. I mean the only good thing that will come out of this fight is seeing Williams get KTFO...lol I mean whats going to happen is that PW is going to get KO. He's going to come back to 147 and then Cotto gets his hands on him and everyone will say. Pavlik ruined him. This fight doesn't make sense to me. Kelly got a pass for Lockett, but I hope he doesn't get a pass for PW. Well it's Arum that should be faulted at the end of the day.
Why the **** would Williams do this, Pavlik is a big hard hitting MW. career suicide if you ask me, sure he can bounce back but this is about as dumb as it gets.
The problem is that Pavlik is both better technically and stronger (from what we've seen) than Williams. Though Paul is a big guy for welter. it should be interesting how he appears at a higher weight. Also, lets not forgot that Paul has never fought at a higher weight class. How would his body adjust carrying the extra weight? Considering he is fighting below his natural weight class i dont think it would be an issue, but still to many disadvantages to say the least.
I hope Paul puts up a good fight. He is a very good fighter but I wonder how he'll pull this one off.
Nice schedule: Sept. 20: JC vs. RJJ Sept. 27: Pavlik vs. Williams Oct. 4: AA vs. Marquez Oct. 11: Vitali Klitschko vs. Sam Peter & Chad Dawson vs. Antonio Tarver

Either this is bull****, or Paul Williams got a huge heart and is trying to get his name in the history books, but it's gonna be an awful beating and perhaps a career-ending one. Bad, baad move by Paul.
Something is seriously ****ing wrong if Williams makes the leap to MW to face Pavlik. How much did this guy freaking drain in his previous fights.
