If this is true Paul will never fight at 147 again. I admire his courage but it's a horrible decison to take on Kelly.

I think Kelly should take some criticism for fighting a guy like Williams. It does nothing for his resume and means nothing. If this fight comes off he deserves to get bashed.:deal

You gotta admire the balls on Paul Williams.

I'm starting to wonder myself if this is more than just a pipe dream. I'm really beginning to think they fancy his chances against Pavlik here. At 6'1" and 81" inch reach, Williams would be a filled out middleweight. And sure Williams doesn't look particularly fast at welter but Pavlik will be noticeably slower than your typical welter as well.

His power might also be more noteworthy at a higher weight as well. Down at 147 he spent some time just mauling opponents with light pitty pat punches. But I've seen him sit down on one or two punches and do alot of damage.

My head still tells me Pavlik. But Williams may look alot better than Gary Lockett in there.

The result may be predictable but so are fights against Rubio and Duddy. Before Williams gets knocked out in the late rounds, it should be a very exciting fight. There are no other fights right now for Pavlik and you gotta commend PW for having the guts to take this fight.

I look forward to it. Should be an entertaining bout while it lasts..

Though I am sure he will lose I do not think 160 is a bad weight for him, Paul is a big dude the weight should actually help him.

Believe it or not, I actually like this fight. Two high work rate fighters who don't take breaks means a lot of action. I think Paul has a decent chin and will look to outbox Kelly. Could be a good fight, and I think Paul will surprise a few people.

Brusselles, Corley and Mitchell weren't moving up two divisons to face PBF. I just think both have bigger fights at 147 and at 160 than facing each other that's all.
