God you are stupid aren't you.

What backs me up is that you can't point to a single sentence in this thread where you acknowledge GSP's inactivity as an issue when it comes to the current p4p rankings. :good

Right, because my claim all along has been that Jones defeating Shogun is the reason that he is #1. :patsch

    ****in' simpleton. :-(

Aint you the guy who thought the rules of MMA were poorly defined?

Another nice attempt at a dodge. Im mearly suggesting that GSP has done enough in the time that he hassnt been inactive to trump Jones achivements since then.

He won the last round more convincingly than any one won the 1st two I agree... but he still lost two out of three rounds. Dont blame me for the scoring, or Machida's passivity for 10 out of the 15 minutes allowed

Here's another question that you'll run away from.

How long does it take, in your view, before GSP or any fighter has been inactive for long enough that they can no longer be legitimately ranked in the p4p standings? :huh

One year of inactivity isn't enough, because GSP has already been out of the cage for more than that.

Eighteen months isn't enough, because GSP won't be back in the cage before eighteen months has passed since Shields.

What about two years? Is that long enough to remove someone from the p4p rankings? :conf

If Anderson injures himself in training tomorrow, like GSP did, and has surgery and rehabs but doesn't retire, will he still be p4p #1 on New Years Day 2014 without having a single fight before then? :blood

Answer my questions 1st Haggis...Nice diversion... why wont you answer any of my questions, like which PRIDE fights were influenced by earpieces, which rounds in MMA history were draws ect...

Anyway since Im never gonna get an answer these points in this thread are obviously moot

Id say if Condit clears out the rest of the division whilst GSP is away, then it puts a question mark on Georges dominance, But imo, and fair enough if you disagree he's done enough to be P$P 1, Jones a close 2nd, Andy is 3. But talent wise Id go Andy, Jones, GSP only cause Silva can finish fights in a split second. But neither Jones or GSP have been anywhere they didnt want to be in recent memory

Andy will always look mrotal against good wrestlers, even though he's beaten far and away the 3 of the best wrestlers 185 has seen in the UFC. Both Jones, and GSP since the Hughes fight?Serra kod have been anywhere they didnt want to be

For the record, my current p4p list has Jones at #1, Silva at #2.

The reason Silva is #2 is because recently Jones has fought much more often against better opponents and won more decisively.

Silva is scheduled to face Sonnen, who IMO he had a lucky escape from last time around. I see Sonnen as a significant danger for Anderson, whereas I don't see anyone around being a danger to Jones. I thought Rashad was the last one left who had any real chance. Only after seeing Rashad easily defeated did I move Jones up to #1.

If Silva beats Sonnen in decisive fashion, he'll be right back to #1. But I feel he first needs to show that his submission win over Sonnen wasn't a fluke. Once he does that, he's #1 again.

None of that **** has ANY relevance AT ALL to the subject of this thread. :patsch

And they aren't "points", they are irrelevant drivel. For a start, those two completely irrelevant, massively open-ended questions that you just asked up above? You didn't even ask them earlier in the thread, yet you are complaining that I didn't answer them. :patsch

I don't know why the **** I ever thought you were one of the better posters. You can't construct a coherent argument for ****. :rofl

How much time needs to pass without fighting before GSP is removed from the p4p lists based on inactivity?

    Two years?

    More?

See, you actually manage to not sound like a halfwit here. Why you can't post like this the rest of the time is a mystery to me. We could potentially have a good discussion like two adults. Except apparently you have no idea how to form a coherent argument, stick to the topic at hand and get into a two-way conversation where you consider the other person's case before responding. Shame. :-(

Aye, but he also lost to Shogun the first time around, so the balance is even again. :good

Please dont call me a halfwit, you are the guy who though that Goldy's spiel about the rules before an event were the definition of said rules...

Are you going to answer my questions Haggis? I think Ive made, whether you agree or not, the point that GSP has beaten the more physically prime fighters, not taking anything away form Jones

and Jones took the title from a guy who had been inactive two months less than GSP

"IMO they need to get rid of Goldberg and Buffer, but Rogan should stay."

Which ones? The ones about PRIDE and drawn rounds that are completely and utterly irrelevant to the discussion at hand? No, I'm not going to answer stupid questions about PRIDE and earpieces and drawn rounds in a thread about p4p rankings. :nono

No, you haven't. In fact that right there is the first time you've mentioned the word "prime" in this thread. And you haven't mentioned anything about any of GSP's specific opponents in this thread either. Their abilities, whether they were prime, even their ****ing names. Not... a... single... thing. So no, you haven't made that point, and that's not a matter of opinion, it's a statement of fact. :good

And you wonder why I call you a halfwit.

    :rofl

Two months less than GSP has been inactive right now, at this very moment. As in, before he does at least another 6 months worth of rehab and training, before he's ready to get back in the cage. Halfwit. :good
