If we throw resume out of the window and use the original meaning of P4P (both fighters being at the same weight with their speed, power, stanima, skill, etc all carrying up or down to this weight) then who do you think will be number 1?

I havn't put a hell of a lot of thought into this as when i think about P4P rankings then i take in to account resume but of the top of my head i think Calderon would be my number 1 (top 3 atleast).

Although he isn't the most techniquely sound boxer in the world i think Pac would also be near the top. His power, speed, stanima and chin at 122-130 was very good and i believe his natural athleticism would overcome many opponents if they were both naturally the same weight.

    Who would you guys pick?

If Mijares does very well against Vic I think he blows away half of the top 10 p4p.

Mijares is high on my P4P list. I like him a lot. I think he will beat Vic hadily but styles make fights and Vic is stylistically good for Mijares.

If they were the same weight how do you think Mijares would do against a slick fighter like Calderon?

If Mijares beats Vic he moves up to the number 3 spot on my P4P list.

Without resume, talentwise, I pick Nonito Donaire. He can box already, but his additional dimension of power helps.

JMM gets my vote, i mean like I have said previously gets beat of pac then goes and Koes the legit lightweight champ in Cassamayor takes some beating.

Speed, power, stamina, skills ? I still stick with Pacquiao. He is easily the fastest, probably the strongest, has incredible stamina since he can keep up a high rhythm throughout the entire fight and skill wise he is just below Juan Manuel Marquez.
Mijares is a much better boxer of course but I thought we were talking about everything here.

As of now I think Mijares, and quite clearly. Barring a bad result against a certain style in the future, I think Mijares is the best all-around fighter in the game today.

a case can easily be made for calzaghe, b-hop, manny, or jmm. i'd have to go with jmm for losing contro's he should of won to manny and beating the top man at 135, casamayor

    Calzaghe.

Most adaptable boxer in the world, would find a way to beat anyone out there.
