uhh, maybe because dawson is coming off a decisive victory over Hopkins, who was pretty much a consensus 6-8 on most people's lists. . . and cotto is coming off a decisive loss, albeit to floyd, he still got beat pretty thoroughly. . and cotto has lost both times he's stepped up to the best, decisively, one time being stopped after getting pummeled over 12 rounds. . .
people really give no respect to the lower weight classes, else why would they rate Ward and Martinez above Donaire.

I don't know if I am sold yet on Dawson, its kinda of hard to guage when your only real notable win is Hopkins who is def over the hill. Ward is a future Hall of Famer so I'm not sure that would be a good judge either. I would actually like to see Dawson fight Froch or Kessler, possibly at a catchweight and then make a decision on this guy. I know that Dawson has the skills but does he have the will, thats the question.
I think Dawson being arund 8-10 is ok. . any high is too much. . he still has to prove some things, i agree. I'd love a dawson vs. kessler/froch fight. . .
I agree. . I find it next to impossible to justfiy ranking them above Donaire. . . I know I left out some little guys like Viloria (he could easily be justified to be top 20), but I was sure to include Mares, Moreno, and gave Chris John an honorable mention, although he arguably could be higher. . . Joy deserved a mention somewhere. . . But really, after like the top 6 it's really up for a lot of debate. . . But some of these are just ridiculous. . .
