~ P4P below 130 ~

It's been a while since I updated this thread and there have been major events among the little warriors. Just a few notes per division:
126lbs: Yuriorkis Gamboa became the unified champ beating Orlando Salido by UD, likely to face the very inactive Chris John next year. JuanMa struggled and impressed in two short rounds vs. Bernabe Concepcion, aged Rafa Marquez is up up next, who beat Izzy Vazquez in an unnecessary 4th fight. Celestino Caballero is out as he goes to 130 in his next fight while Hozumi Hasegawa is in as he moves up two divisions to face Juan Carlos Burgos for a vacant belt
122lbs: Poonsawat made pretty good noise blowing Bernard Dunne away last year, but lost his title to unknown Ryol Li Lee, while Japanese Toshiaki Nishioka produced yet another top notch win over mandatory Rendall Munroe. Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. is also making noise while Guillermo Rigondeaux is looking to do just that vs. Ricardo Cordoba
118lbs: the 4-man BW tourney is on with Darchinyan moving up & facing Abner Mares in SF1 and Jonnhy Perez rematching King Kong Agbeko in SF2. Moreno beat Cermeno again, only if this man was entertaining... Montiel is set for a title defence is December after a motorcycle accident
115lbs: as undisputed SFW champ Darchinyan moved up to BW so the division is up for the grabs. Nonito Donaire faces his first live opponent in quite some while vs Wladimir Sidorenko while Hugo Casares quickly put together 3 WBA world title wins including the FOTY war vs. Nobuo Nashiro. Omar Narvaez joined the divison, picked up a belt
112lbs: Pongsaklek really struggled vs. an unknown fighter and only a stupid WBC rule prevented him to get a draw vs. Suriyan while Luis Concepcion made quick work over Denkaosan, you better look out for this kid
108lbs: Giovanni Segura knocked out future HOF-er Ivan Calderon for an upset of the year candidate in a fantastic war to become the lineal champ. Roman Gonzalez impressed very much for an interim belt with quick finish over durable Francisco Rosas. Segura-Gonzalez could be EPIC!
105lbs: Not much here. The highly skilled Nkosinathi Joyi faces former champ Katsunari Takayama in November
There's gonna be plenty to update at the end of 2010 as the year offers plenty of action after a slow start

Too bad not much response. These guys never fail to deliver even when their bigger colleagues fool around at the negotiating table.

Final 2011 P4P Rankings Below 130lbs

Just a quick update before the final rankings of 2011 are released.

105lbs Akira Yaegashi impressively captured the WBA belt while Kazuto Ioka sparked Yodgoen in one, him vs. Nkosinathi Joyi would be awesome
108lbs Kompayak Porpramook captured the WBC belt via knockout over Andrian Hernandez
112lbs EPIC last months at flyweight as Viloria upset our no5 guy Segura crowning a great year in style. Wonjongkam dominated Edgar Sosa then another defence ended in technical draw via headbutt. Mthelane, making a lot of noise, easily beat Sarritzu and Hernan Marquez sparked out Concepcion in 1. A loaded division heading into a great year!
115lbs Suriyan who upset Rojas for the WBC belt continued his fine run with a win over Nashiro while Tepparith Kokietgym defeated Daiki Kameda for the WBA title
118lbs another loaded division saw Donaire dominating Narvaez then moving up, Mares clearly beating Agbeko, Arce and Yamanaka capturing a belt and Moreno putting on a masterpiece vs Darchinyan
122lbs no notable action here other than Donaire moving up and looking to fight Vazquez Jr.
126lbs Looks like Gamboa is moving up but it's not yet official, Caballero beat both Barros and Hosono, John beat Merdov and Gonzalez sparked R. Caballero - how about him facing Celestino?
