Some of you say .. another belt :patsch
But it would have sense to give the belt ... somethings between
the Ring belt and linear title in the p4p ranks. It would formally
give proper recognition for the p4p best fighter.

The belt, after established could be on the line if
two p4p top 10 fighters fights in the ring (like in PAC-Cotto).
So the next p4p king comes from Cotto-PAC and
if PBF beats JMM he must face Cotto-PAC winner if he
wants to claim the p4p title :deal

If the p4p belt holder fights the fighter outside
the top10 then his belt is not on the line, so no one
could win the belt from nowhere. However if he loses
that fight then the belt become vacant and the new
belt holder is announced from the next (Ring) ranking ....
which could in turn come back to the previous p4p king
if he still stays at the top of the list despite the recent lose.

    What do you think?

Then how would, say Dawson, get near a p4p title? :nut

The p4p status if always in favor to the smaller guys, and they hold the title until they lose or retire, that the reality. The title would be ready to take right after the recent p4p king lose the fight and no one else from top 10 beats him ... that a chance for Dawson.

The official title would give us the chance that the top p4p fighters are actually ready to fight eachother.

P4P does not exist. It is never proven in the ring. The last thing Boxing needs is a mythical belt that does not even exist.

I'm not sure about it, but I'm sure Ricky Hatton would love a 3rd go :nut

Said this before, say a welterweight guy holds the "p4p" title, he goes up and fights at 154 or 160 and loses, then that guy eventually goes up to 175 and loses etc. eventually it'll just get nudged up further and further untill it is out of reach of the smaller guys, thus rendering the whole idea of p4p meaningless.
