Pure raw power. And nothing else mattering like timing, accuracy, precision, etc. Its got to be Joe Smith Jr.
Wilder has height reach and speed advantages over everybody he fights except for Fury. And hes fighting guys who are big overweight stiffs. Not hating on him just the reality. The first live body he fought most thought he lost. If it's just pure power only its Joe Smith. He has NOTHING going for him besides power.
Wilder is fighting bigger guys and Inoue is fighting guys that his own natural size. But the smaller you are the more weight matters. 8 pound weight advantage is massive at Bantamweight. At Heavyweight it's a much smaller advantage.
Gassiev's KO over Shimell shts on any KO from any boxer in the last 5 or 6 years in terms of pure brutality. Yes, when Gassiev connects, his power looks most frightening to me.
It's possible that Gassiev punches harder than Wilder. Especially when you consider hes got power in both hands.
Also, if the we are just going off of who is the best pure puncher then it would have to be Inoue. He has power, timing, punch selection, accuracy, technique, everything.
I hear what you're saying that he's a swarmer/volume puncher but I also believe he doesn't have as many one punch KO's is because as soon as David lands some shots his opponents run away or cover up. It's harder to KO a guy that's just trying to survive than someone that's there to fight. We can agree to disagree, I personally think he's easily top ten best punchers in the game.
Its very close and debatable. You can easily make an argument for Wilder, in fact I was leaning towards him initially but considering Inoue's size, I gotta go with him. Little dudes don't destroy little dudes like he does. Plus I believe his last 6 opponents had never been stopped and he walked right through all of them.
In no order Inoue Beterbiev Makhmudov Donkey Gassiev And Inoue hits harder than Donkey and I don't just mean hits harder P4P either.
