To which I repeat: It's been established. You're overly critical of the footage in Williams' favour, disregard the fact that there are many unfilmed finishes that would further do him justice*, it means little to you that he was controlled by the mob and avoided prior to that, as do the reports of fighters and sportswriters of the time who said Williams hit like a truck and crippled fighters like the best in history.
I'm not overly critical of it, i'm placing it in it's correct conxext. I'm not impressed with this mythical puncher landing multiple flush bombs on helpless opponents and needing the intervention of the referee rather than dropping them for 10. As for the mob, I repeat to you, you're presuming plenty on William's behalf. There are no other contenders for this top 5 spot than need quite as much help.
In Dempsey I see a great attacking fighter. In Johnson I see a big man who puts most of his weight way back on his right leg. I see almost no jab, a slapping left hook if u want to even call it a hook. Hes a clutcher and a grabber who throws alot of right uppercuts. He does nothing for me. sorry.
