    Exactly. The example you used was perfect and a typical example of how the term was originally used.

    Of course a lightweight doesn't punch harder than a heavyweight, but COMPARITIVELY speaking (pound for pound), some lightweights would be considered harder hitters than some heavyweights.

    Suddenly it's become some sort of a rating, and now they even fight to decide who's the P4P champion. Before you know it we'll have 10 parallel P4P champions in 10 different weight classes.
