Alright lads, I hadn't really noticed a thread going into this so thought I might start one after Donaire's win over Montiel last night. It's obviously a very subjective issue and can depend on a lot of different factors. Quality of opponents and manner of victory are what I personally think are most important but things like skill level, moving up in weight etc are more important for others. Was wondering what you thought on the subject and what your top 5 are now? Mine are probably; 1.Pacquiao 2.Mayweather(if he still counts as active) 3.Marquez 4.Martinez 5.Donaire Then the next 5 from Bradley, Wlad, Froch, Juanma and probably B-Hop though I'm not sure of the order yet
I was confused as to why everyone at HBO seemed to completely ignore Marquez. I'd have him at 3 as well. I'd have the same order with Wlad, Cotto, JML, etc.
