I chose option 5. I cant just put a guy right back into top 5 p4p rankings after what 18 months of inactivity off of 4 rounds of work. Did look sharp though.

He should entice Khan into fighting him in December. Khan would find it way too hard to turn down the lucrative purse. Then if Floyd beats him which he probably will since Khan isn't quite ready yet, I'd put Floyd back on the P4P list. It's about being active and beating good if not great fighters.

You must have missed the part where no one said anything about historical rankings. That's not what this thread is about.

Because KO-ing your opponent via sucker punch whilst they are looking in the opposite direction is great p4p material. **** Floyd he should stay out of the p4p rankings until he wins a fight properly.

    NOT.

He will be if he beats the Numero UNO P4P.

..unless you consider a fighter who suckerpunches his opponent just to win. (KO was legit tho)

But you have to admit, Tree was on his way to an wipe out UD loss with the way Floyd was handling him.

Floyd will earn the the top P4P ranking the moment he beats Pac, not by beating Pac's sparring partner by sucker punch.

I put him back in at #2. Pacquaio has fought more regularly so he keeps No1 spot for now. Neither have been fighting prime live opponents at their correct weight for a couple of years. Only way to really cement No1 is to fight each other and that aint gonna happen.

3...simply b/c the quality of opposition wasn't on level with guys Sergio and Manny have beaten and they hold the top 2 spots.
