You nailed the main guys already...Duran, Moore, Canzoneri, Pep, Tunney.

I'll add Joe Gans and Benny Leonard.

What Duran did in that 1st fight with Leonard wins this for me. To make a fighter as fast, and as special as prime Leonard was consistently miss, and ride with shots while also being in range to be effective with his own offense was boxing at its most beautiful, and brutal at the same time. Of course prime Ali. Mayweather vs Corralles was also special. And showed what May Jr could've been at that weight. Camacho at Jr. Light was also special. And then the usual suspects of Robinson and Leonard at welter. R.Jones Jr. At middle.

Pep could not punch although a great defensive fighter.

Benny Leonard could hit like a hammer along with textbook defense.

    Ali
    Sugar Ray Leonard.
    Roberto Duran
    Roy Jones

Bernard Hopkins pre 40 years old. His offense took a big dive after that but before he could lead had a balanced attack along with his defense.
