Exactly, there isn't anyway Floyd can rank over either of them.

One thing that amazes me is that some people rank Floyd, at 147, up there with Leonard and Hearns. Think of it this way: what would they have done to Ricky Hatton?

i personally wouldnt call that struggling..... hes just feeling his opponent out.... struggling to me is being at a point where your almost losing because your opponent is plain better than you

Hearns KO 1. Ray Leonard KO 2, possibly KO 1.:yep

Here's some guys that would beat Floyd at 147 off the top of my head -

    Robinson
    Leonard
    Hearns
    Duran
    DLH
    Mosely
    Gavilian
    Quartey
    Ike Williams
Trinidad(prime, they will debate this, but the Welter trinidad KO's Floyd)
    Whitaker
    Chavez
    Benitez

:good Vernon Forrest too. I see you've changed your position on some of these older fighters such as Robinson and Gavilan. I'd also take Napoles, Benitez, and Cotto over him at 147.

I dissagree with Mosely, DLH, and Trinidad. Chavez wasn't that great at 147, so he may loose to Floyd also. I think it's a tossup with Whitaker a Benitez, and Quartey. Leonard,Robinson and Hearns clearly beat him. Duran more than likely beats him. I don't know enough about Gavilan and Williams to comment on those matchups.

Vernon may take him, but I think this guy gets way too much credit for essesntially two good wins over 1 good fighter. Remember, this guy lost twice to Mayorage. Once by KO. I'm not saying Floyd fights like Mayorga, but I have to question the ability of a guy who looses twice to him. Hopefully, we'll find out about Cotto. I think he has a legitimate chance. I would still favor Floyd though.

I changed my position on Robinson at 147, but I still contest that he loses handily to Leonard and Hearns class of fighters, you commented on his flaws during the video also and we agreed. But his power and jab, speed is enough at 147 to take him to high H2H rankings.

    I'd take Napoles also.

I forgot Forrest, Forrest likely would have ****ed him as bad as some of the ATG's going by styles.:yep

Cotto IS going to beat him, if Floyd mans up, thus proving this theory correct.

That's true...but what he showed me against Mosley was enough to pick him over Floyd and anybody at 147 right now including Cotto (based on styles making fights). Cotto/Mayweather would be competitive and after rewatching the Judah and Mosley fights, it's a fight that either guy could win. But at this point in time, I'd favor Cotto by a clear/well deserved decision.

Floyd of 130 definitely beats the Cotto of 147 in a P4P matchup.

Forrest generally excells against boxer types because he himself is a great boxer-puncher, and that's two dominate wins over 1 GREAT fighter, whom he had a stylistic advantage over for sure, but also has one over Floyd.

Find me Floyd's two dominate wins over an A+ level fighter in his prime... oops, didn't happen.:good

Yeah, but we're dealing with the 147 pound Joy Boy that many feel is a Welterweight ATG. The Floyd of 135 vs. Castillo loses to Cotto P4P IMO, I feel Cotto's a vastly superior fighter to Castillo in everything but chin, obviously.

You're smart enough not to make these dumb arguments. Either that or you don't really respect my intelligence. Number 1, Mosely never was an A+ fighter, how you figure he is is beyond me. Number 2, how many A+ are were there even available for Floyd to fight? A+ fighters don't exactly grow on trees.

The 147 pound Floyd has slipped a lot based on my observation. Decreased speed, timing, power, and combination punching. He looks to jump in and out of range with single potshots most of the time, but I see Cotto's left jab and consistent/technical pressure taking him out of his comfort zone.

I loved watching Floyd at the lower weights - especially against Hernandez, N'dou, Castillo, and Augustus. But not so much the welterweight one.

If Mosely's not an A+, then all of Floyd's best wins came over nothing but solid B's, not even 1 B+ in the mix if you don't think Mosely was an A+ top level elite fighter at 135-147.

I scored the Mosely/Cotto fight a draw. I saw Cotto get hit with numerous right hands that he should've seen coming. I also saw Cotto lose some rounds when Mosely started to give him some movement. Cotto's best moments in that fight was when Mosely tried to engage him. Nothing in that fight lead me to believe that he would beat Floyd. With that being said, I still think he has the style to do so(I just wouldn't bet on it)
