That was a two-way street. The fight would’ve been made immediately if Pac ditched Bob and Pac was on the wrong side of the drug testing issue.

I think it would’ve been the same outcome back then and Floyd would’ve been discredited by many like in every other win he got (“Pac was a great fighter but not a great welterweight”).

 

Look I am not gonna play that game. Anybody's resume can be taken apart.
These 4 names were better than anybody Floyd faced. And Leonard beat all 4 of them.

 

Why does Pac get a pass here? Why is Pac not held at fault or partial fault. Why was Pac being afraid of drug testing a sign of Floyd ducking?

 

He doesn't. I said in a previous post it wasn't all Mayweather's fault. I don't think Bob Arum helped and I don't think Pac pushed Arum hard enough to make the fight. But Floyd was the major blocker.

 

I don’t buy that. Reason: Floyd and most people knew he’d beat Pacquiao based on the Marquez fights. Arum had financial interest in protecting his fighter until he didn’t, which is not coincidentally when the fight was made. It’s an Occam’s Razor view.

 

Then the word duck should not be used. The fight didn’t happen when it should have, lots of fights don’t (SRL vs Hearns II didn’t either), does not make it a duck

 

This really isn't fair to Floyd. The fight was on but they couldn't agree on the date to drug test, basically 10 days difference killed the fight along with 2 big EGOS in my book .. 50/50 fault imo.

 

Wow that would be a fair and consistent way to evaluate things....hmmmm maybe it will catch on

WW SRL was devastating against Dave "Boy" Green in a 4 rd K.O. I would not be surprised in a similar result.
What is Floyd going to do....attack SRL....whose is faster and hits harder at WW?
