P4P Greater Fighter: Nino Benvenuti or Jake LaMotta?

    LaMotta - far more accomplished/successful at the world class level.

    Nino maybe one of the most underrated fighters on here. It´s still Jake, just beat better fighters overall. Although Nino´s wins over Griffith and LMR are up there with any of Jake´s, he just lacks the depth.

    I'm glad somebody else feels that way. Not that I necessarily disagree about who is greater, but I do think there's too wide a gap between them, with the amount of praise each get. That I hear and read at least. Because I hear a whole lot of talk about LaMotta and next to nothing about Nino.

    jake has the better names by far. taking robinson's 0, cerdan, holman williams, zivic,dauthille, villemain, satterfield, yarosz etc etc
