I want to have him top 5 above Sugar Ray Leonard, who would agree?
I know that he lost the decision, but I didn't agree with it and I watched that fight a ton ( I think it could have gone either way). In his prime he is what defines a true boxer IMO, but then again I always favor boxers who knock people out...

P4P wise, he did fight smaller guys moving up so... this is maybe more me just saying hes top 5 fav fighter -_-

there are also other all time great fighters to consider. on my list, hagler is ranked somewhere between 15-20.

Not even the best p4p from the 'fabulous 4' of the 1080s, that must go to Duran.
Rememeber, a bit like Hopkins.....his big moments were against smaller guys moving up. Even a portly and over the hill Duran ran him very very close.
Hopkins and Hagler are both overrated by most.

    Calm yourself.

That's one of the best fights Duran ever fought.

Ya I guess He didn't really move around much. I was just watching some of his old fights, and his style is what I love.

maybe, but like I said...Duran was portly and over the hill. He was not at his best anymore. There's no denying that.

in his prime 1978-83 he was a ****ing wrecking machine. The term 'Badass' was made for him. Top 20 for me.
