    14 KO's in 17 world Title fights. He's got a punchers chance.

    sure he does.

I just see how. What did have on Roy beyond power at his weight class? Barrera mopped the floor with the guy. I can't imagine Jones doing anything less than that.

Jones in his prime was one of the best fighters I've ever seen.

I totally agree with you. But did RJJ ever face anyone with P4P Hamed type power? Did he fight Benn, McClellan, Julian Jackson?

Jones never proved himself against a legitimate devastating one punch KO artist. And the fact that he was KO'ed by Tarver with one punch (even though Jones was past his best) raises question marks.

Jones would have been favorite against Hamed P4P, no doubt. But you cannot tell me that Hamed would have NO chance P4P. If he connects with his best punch on Jones - what happens?

I understand your point, but I dont see Hamed landing his best shot on Jones. Just wouldnt happen. In Roy's prime years, how many times did you legitimately see him hit with a BIG shot?

When did he ever fight somebody with the power, speed, attacking prowess and unorthodox nature of Hamed?

Another thing is, Hamed would have gone in thinking he could win, I doubt many of RJJ's opponents actually had the belief to do it.

When did Hamed fight anyone with the speed, power, footwork, unorthodox offense and defense, and ring awareness of Jones?

Hamed loses. Nothing you can say is going to change that.

Don't read too much into that fight. Jones was awesome but he was human he had a hard time with Griffin in their first.

LOL, not just a nationalistic ******, but also a complete dunce when it comes to boxing. I think it's safe to say this fat, inbred ****** is either that other fat ****** Arran or just a straight up troll.

If the title of this thread was "could have" instead of "would have", it would make more sense. Hamed 16 or 17 odd world title defences, murderous hitter, never been stopped, against a fighter that has been KO'D a few times.

Hamed's power....... Jones chin......... he has been KO'D a few times......Blah Blah Blah.

I don't how many times I've heard this he was past it when he got caught.

Jones' speed and reflexes were a step above Hamed's. Jones by UD.

    THIS THREAD IS ******ED.

I know he was. He looked great against a post prime Kevin Kelley.

Jones looked amazing against a prime James Toney.

    great point. I agree.

On top of that name one person that had the reflexes, speed, and all around ability that Hamed faced that is even comparable to what a prime RJJ had.
