your leaving out the fact that mayweather knocked hatton out were as stzu hit hatton with the kitchen sink and couldnt put him away, Its not so simple, what about that guy that had coreley sleepy reaching for god Prime Mayweather only knocked him down and couldnt finish that nobody hits harder then Mayweather?.
Corley had cotto out on his feet but zab couldnt hurt him, corley hits harder then Judah?
Stzu probally dont hit harder then mayweather and if you put the too in the ring together stzu wouldv got thrashed lets not talk ducking because I sat at home right there and watch max kenney and roy jones all picked other oponets they want floyd to kenny and max wanted him to fight Judah who was #2 and Jones wanted him to fight Hatton who was #1 after stzus destruction

Indeed , sadly his chin was gone.

May and Pac would still have beaten him on his best day ( not that there is any shame in that )

I think the key difference is that Floyd has power, he just doesn't fight in a style where he goes looking for knock outs.

I don't think Pernell had that power. He fought the same sort of way, but I think he was giving it everything.

When Floyd puts his weight behind shots, he has one punch KO ability like the best of them.

Look at the Gatti fight, where he was very aggressive, he stopped the guy in 6 rounds. Oscar only managed it in 5

Thats a good point too , not all fights are the same

Kostya could have run Ricky over with a bus that night and still not knocked him down .

Come on, be fair, Hatton had walked through numerous punchers on his way to fighting Mayweather.

The only reason he lasted 12 rounds with Lazcano was pure circumstance. Without that 1 minute break, he’d have never made the bell

Mayweather knocked out tons of guys way faster than supposed "punchers".

As you say, it's not that simple

Agree totally. Hatton was struggling with guys like Collazo at his supposed peak.

Collazo being a big step down from an Old Shane.

An Old Shane being a big step down from Floyd

    yeah deffo

At his best he was a tough , gutsy , exciting , popular fighter and world champion but he was always a level below the very very best. Again though there is no shame there.

Anyway were ****in way off topic here

All the little douchenozzles on this thread, especially that utter cretin "MrWonderful":)oops:), who say that Hatton's punch resistance was destroyed by Mayweather because Lazcano hurt him...

...go watch the Luis Collazo fight!!!!! Hatton's punch resistance was no worse in the Lazcano fight than it was in the Collazo fight. But you ***** gimps wouldn't know that, coz you don't know anything except stuff that you use to defend your beloved Void.

    Name them???

I'm waiting for these "tons" to be listed???

I know that Pacquiao knocked Hatton out earlier than Mayweather...

I know that Tszyu stopped Judah and Floyd did not...

I know that Tszyu knocked out Sharmba Mitchell earlier than Floyd...

I know that Castillo knocked out Corrales earlier than Floyd stopped him...

I know that Oscar De La Hoya stopped Gatti earlier than Floyd did...

I know that Julio Diaz stopped Jesus Chavez earlier than Floyd did...

I know that Jesus Chavez stopped Emmanuel Augustus earlier than Floyd did...

I know that Oscar De La Hoya got rid of Genaro Hernandez earlier than Floyd did...

I'm calling you out, you ***** fanboy ****. "Tons" is obviously a pretty hefty number.

    NAME THEM. :smoke

    Nobody's brought this fight up?

Anyway, I think Whitaker dug harder to the body and Mayweather typically hit harder to the head.
