    According to several news sources including FN, this fight was finalized on Monday so we can expect an official announcement soon.

    Juan Manuel Marquez, The Ring magazine and lineal lightweight champion will fight former lightweight champion Juan Diaz in Houston, on February 28th, 2009.

    Although this fight isn't the big one (JMM-Campbell), but the winner will probably go after Nate for the undisputed championship. This will be a very exciting fight and great display of skills, heart and determination.

    But the big question: who will win?

    I've got Marquez by Decision. Too good of a technician for the reckless and untested Diaz.

    I must say Diaz may win some rounds.. But not enough against the skills of Marquez.

    I'll be rooting for Baby Bull, but Marquez is just so polished and Diaz really doesnt have any stopping power.

    I have only seen a few fights of Siaz but I don't think he is good enough to beat Marquez.

    Jmm is amongs my favorite fighters but I gotta think this through. Diaz is no joke he has workrate, boxing ability, and a great chin. I think the key to this fight is who gets the jab in first id favor Marquez because of his great speed but thats a biased opinion.

    Juan Diaz doesn't have the power to really razzle JMM. He'll win rounds but not enough to get a definitive win over JMM.

    I'm thinking something like 8-4 ish for Marquez.
