Montiel's long overdue for being the victim of a supernatural display by God Mijares, it's going to be a slaughter.

we'll see amsterdam ... i'm not trying to argue because I like Mijares as well but as far as being the best of the division ... you have to give it to Montiel.

Hasn't done enough? He recently beat the recognized 108 champ! What can he do if the other so called champs doesn't want to unify? keep in mind that p4p fighter should be measured not only by achievements, but you need to take into consideration other factors such as skill. There is no other boxer in the planet, save for PBF, with pure boxing skills as Calderon. He deserves to be in the top 5 p4p.

He actually did not call their second fight a robbery. He accepted the decision so nothing to complain about fitzgeraldz.

    1. Floyd Mayweather
    2. Manny Pac
    3. Joe Calzaghe
    4. Juan Manuel Marquez
    5. Israel Vasquez
    6. Miguel Cotto
    7. Bernard Hopkins
    8. Rafael Marquez
    9. Kelly Pavlik
    10. Ricky Hatton

First off, there is no way to justify Calzaghe being ahead of Pac. Should he beat Bernard, he has a case but as of now, no way. What great fighter has he beaten in the last 5 years? Lacy? Kessler although a good solid champ is still unproven on the elite level. Face it, you arent elite until you beat another elite, MAB has, JMM has, Morales has and Pac beat them all. If anything the Kessler win isnt any greater than the Ledwaba win, both were borderline top 10 p4p and although kessler was perceived the better fighter, Pac "demolished" Ledwaba whilst Calzaghe won a clear UD loosing a few rounds.

I rate Calzaghe above JMM cos I think he is that good. Head2Head JMM-Pac are practically equal with Pac having the slight edge, however you got to take into account the fact that JMM has the stylistic advantage over Pac. VS other fighters like MAB, Pac comes off as the much better fighter.

Hopkins over Pavlik despite loosing to Taylor twice. Pavlik won a very close fight against Taylor, in the eyes of many Hopkins won a very close decision against Taylor too. On top of that, Hopkins has the better overall resume.

Hatton put up a hell of a fight against Mayweather, IMO he gave PBF a tougher fight than any previous opponent outside Castillo. I believe that PBF is alot smarter and better fighter now than he was against castillo. Face it, fighters do improve specially when they train as much as he does.
