P4P List: Lomachenko or Crawford??

Beating Linares was always going to shoot Loma way ahead of Crawford.

However Crawford beating Horn to become a 3 weight world champ will tie them closely together again.

Outside of Mikey , which is unlikely to happen , there's a void of top level opponents available for Loma to beat , but Crawford has a stacked division at 147 to compete against.

A win over Horn and then Thurman or Spence will put Crawford well ahead of Loma. But until that happens Loma got the top spot.
Bump GGG off , he barely belongs in the top 10 anymore

The last 10-15 years sitting in a barbershop on Saturdays...no one talked HWs. Now all of a sudden Wilder has wakened a few up.

Pacquiao was the only one that transcends nations, race...some of every one liked dude...not since maybe RJJ, but he never cracked PPV records orgate sells. Hell he didn't come close to selling out the Thomas & Mack center when he made history at HW.

And a name like Lomachenko...most Americans I know don't want to pronounce the name right. They look at me like I'm an illegal when I say names like Kovalev, Klitschko...I went from being questioned if I was a true brother to an American LOL!

There's still Pac and sooner or later Arum will try to "feed" him to Loma whether it works out or not, it's inevitable.

Now would that be because they are 2 weight divisions apart or because of Lomas pumpkin head? You have an abysmal record of predicting the out come of Lomas fights so now you revert to hypothetical match ups which you know will never happen.

 

I think Joshua would knock Crawford out easily! Why isn't Crawford fighting Joshua? Where is Joshua vs. Crawford? Did Crawford back out? Wilder wants to fight Ricardo Lopez, wants him to come out of retirement...................

Seriously! Even Bandeedo has succumbed to the notion of Loma being the best!

 

Loma is starting to get to that territory of unbelievable hypeness that Pacquiao was famous for. People were getting banned for creating threads that Pac would dominate Hatton, DLH and Cotto. But then Pac actually did the impossible of coming from 112 to destroy bigger men. He retired DLH. Ricky Hatton almost died in the ring. And Cotto spent the night in the ICU with his dad by his side.

People are starting to say some crazy things about Loma. They said he can beat Spence and Crawford. They said he can dominate Garcia. I dont think he can. But the last time we had a guy getting this type of hype on this forum. The fighter justified every last ounce of it and then some. So I dont want to eat crow. If Loma does these crazy things then at least I wont be looking like the fool.

 

I still have Loma #1 but if Crawford can fight and beatsThurman or Spence or the other top guys at 147 i will move him past loma.

 

Let's remind ourselves... P4p is just a concept. A consensus opinion. If all fighters were the same size who'd win right now?
