Crawford might well beat Thurman but he isn't fighting or beating Spence... Bob won't let him anywhere near that one.
Pound for pound, Crawford would probably beat Lomachenko up. Lomachenko has a bit better resume though.
Lomachenko. And all I'll say if you don't agree is refer to @Serge and @CST80 and their respective breakdowns.
Loma at number one P4p is fair and I concur. Referenceing any opinion from yourself, CST and Serge shouldn’t be considered the best barometer for an outside party to gauge justification. I respect and more importantly accept those opinions, however, I’d be a pure ignoramus if I for one second thought these “breakdowns” were nonpartisan. I could just as easily make a well founded breakdown supporting Crawford’s claim at the top and I’ll have immediate push back from the aforementioned crowd stating the same sentiment. My personal rational behind placing Loma number one is heavily weighted on his current resume versus Crawford’s resume at this very moment in their careers but the independent variables that have and will interject from this point forward will truly tell us who will be considered a real HOF’er and true ATG fighter. H2H in a neutral setting at 135 lbs prime for prime mentally and physically I’d have to favor Crawford. I’m just more confident in his instinct, confidence and ability to adjust. I thought Loma was excellent in his outing versus Linares but unlike most honed in on his knock down and other vulnerabilitys I was most concerned with his predictability. Linares was able to time Lomas rhythm way to often and I haven’t seen anyone even come remotely close to doing that with Crawford (even with considering the level of competition in both resumes since the variance level isn’t that off base). Lomas skill and athleticism can be a detriment when he’s constantly pivoting to one side to create angles like he did with Linares when it ultimately cost him more energy to do so while allowing Linares the ability to calculate his rhythm. Crawford’s vulnerability comes in a form of stalking type pressure, it’s a gamble but when he’s hit it happens while he’s his killer mode which is similar to GGGs approach. At the end of the day it would be impossible and down right impractical to think you’d ever look Crawford/Loma from objective prescription glasses. One would hope that you understand why referencing the opinions of folks that share a similar phenotype to your own isn’t the most arbitrary analysis to use when making a fair assessment of both fighters.
i have them dead even, with a lean towards bud because of how dominant he looked more recently. spence and garcia are who will seperate them historically.
What? At 135? Crawford never goes to that weight and Loma has no business fighting any higher than 135. He is already pushing it going to 135. You guys need to let this one go. The size disparity is too great.
Pound for pound... like if they were the same size? Lomachenko boxes ‘Buds’ brains out. And Vasyl definitely has a better resume. Lol I actually think Loma would beat Crawford at 135.
