I've never seen this match up before in a p4p discussion. Who wins this if they are the same size? A hw version of floyd or a ww version of vitali.

p4p means the best fighter in the world regardless of weight.

not if they were the same size........

    just my opinion.

BUT my grandad always said it was if they were the same size so..............

what height would a heavyweight Mayweather be, what reach etc and the same for a welterweight Vitalli?

I just cant get my head round it

The "if they were the same size" concept is simply ridiculous. You'll never know how Vitali would train, prepare or fight, if he was 5"8".. Because.. He would not be Vitali anymore.

**** it. Fight takes place at bantamweight 2008 at the MGM. Floyd by decision.

I think it's a stupid conversation, but Mayweather is around an average welter with long reach, so if you let the average heavyweight height to be 6,4 and reach be 78", likely putting heavyweight Mayweather around 79-80" very similar to Vitali.

So it would be Vitali weight and height against Mayweathers clearly better skillset.

For a comparison like this I picture Vitali as a tall extremely strong welterweight. Perhaps 6'3, good puncher, great chin and very strong. I still think Floyd outpoints him, but it would be a very physically demanding fight.

Still, if you think comparing a ww with a hw is ridiculous, just ask yourself who's the better fighter.
