So how does it look like now? Many had Wlad as p4p no. 1... Mine is: 1. Roman Gonzalez 2. Guillermo Rigondeaux (whether you like it or not) 3. Manny Pacquiao 4. Sergey Kovalev 5. Gennady Golovkin 6. Andre Ward (time to step up, 1 fight agains a bum per year wont work) 7. Timothy Bradley (yes) 8. Juan Francisco Estrada 9. Saul Canelo Alvarez 10. Takashi Uchiyama
1. Floyd Mayweather(he'll fight in 2016 to make it 50-0) 2. Roman Gonzalez 3. Andre Ward. 4. Kovalev 5. Manny Pacquaio 6. Terrence Crawford 7. Timothy Bradley 8. Rigo 9. Canelo Alvarez 10. Estrada 11. Fury 12. GGG 13. Inoue
A fight involving a fighter who should never have merited consideration shouldn't affect p4p. If you actually rated Wlad p4p, after losing despite being the same fighter we've seen for so long you should have to now rate Fury p4p.
He has to fight better guys in order to get a better ranking. Lineras might be the best LW in the world, doesn't mean anything if he never beat anyone of note though.
Yes, but you rate Crawford higher and he obviously has a weaker resume without a single unification fight. I agree that Golovkin has to beat the other top guys in the division, but I cannot understand how you could rate Crawford higher than GGG.
Pac the midget actually beat men who are SKILLED and BIGGER than him. His win over Timothy Bradley is simply better than anything on Klitty's recent reusme. Losing to a roided out ATG and the best fighter of his generation is nothing to be shamed about. I still see him beating everyone from 147 and below, barring Mayweather and maybe Crawford.
It's simple really. Crawford has a better resume, accomplished more, and looks to be more skilled than GGG with much more in the tank. GGG does not have a better resume than Crawford, that's absurd to even think about. atsch
The only outstanding name is an overblown Gamboa - still a good one, but it doesnt put you ahead of a champ with multiple belts and several years of KO defences against decent opposition. The only thing Crawford has above GGG is that he switched divisions smoothly. "Looks to be more skilled" is not a persuasive point either, on this basis you should have Anthony Joshua as hw no.1. Inoue to me looks more skilled than Crawford or GGG, yet he does not belong to the top10.
Is you take wlad out or drop him places then that means fury has to go ahead of him. That's the way it should work
1-2: Gonzalez and Golovkin. 3-7: Kovalev, Pac, Rigo, Inoue, Crawford in no particular order 8-10: Bradley, Lara, Canelo in no particular order
