Putting any assumptions of a close fight aside, byt that i mean as close as pac/marquez was. If the winner is clear i.e. clear UD or stoppage, if the winner is clear, will that winner be universally regarded as P4P #1? I've seen some posters saying that win or lose pacman will be #1 P4P, might just be me, but i see that as nuthugging. the guy has only has 1 less WW fight than floyd so i dont get how people can say it is a mismatch in terms of size, both are established WW's in my eyes. Surely the winner will be regarded as the best boxer on the planet?
the winner won't just be regarded as the P4P no.1, he'll be regarded as the best fighter of his era and will be compared against the best of all time. they are both good enough.
winner of this will be the man,no question!!! but i guarantee after the fight there will be a hundred different excuses/arguments between *****s and *******s!!!
I've seen a few people say Pacquiao would still be P4P#1 too, I just put it down to his fans not feeling too confident about beating Mayweather but still wanting to hang from Pac's balls.
6 - 3 = 1 ????? :-( :huh :nut atsch Mayweather has been at WW for 4 and a half years, Pacquiao has been there for 18 months. Mayweather has only fought at 147 and above since moving to the division, Pacquiao has since fought at 140. Mayweather has more than twice as many fights as Pacquiao at WW or higher. To try to make an argument that there won't be a size discrepancy or that they're both equally established as welters sounds a bit like nuthugging or perhaps the early onset of dementia. That said, the winner of the fight will be P4P #1, clearly.
Ofcourse winner is p4p 1... I was just saying in another thread how may should be considered #1 p4p right now .... going into the fight he is the favorite and yet he is ranked 2 and his opponent #1 ... that doesn't make sense ... if u wear the crown .. there shouldn't be any1 in your weightclass favored to beat u
