Had he beaten Marquez convincingly, or at least deserved the decision in my eyes, I would have put him number 1 or 2. But I felt Marquez won a close, but clear decision. Therefore, I kept my list exactly the same.
Yeh you have a point there. I also had JMM winning a close but clear decision, if that makes sense (kind of an oxymoron) . I chose to keep Pac at 2 cause his resume is much better than Joes and he just comes to fight and doesn't control the cards at all. If JC stops BHop (like I think he will) then I may move him to #2
One thing is for certain with BHop: he will show up in the best shape possible, no doubt. But he has slowed noticeably in the last half dozen years
Why the hell would you move him up based on a fight with Alphosno Gomez? FFS... He should be fairly high already, around 5 by my reckoning
Many people posting didn't move him up. I am having a tough time between him or JMM at #4 though. I'm giving Cotto the nod for #4 right now because he looks to be in his prime (or damn close) and only Mayweather gives him a 50/50 fight imo
I've Cotto behind PBF, JMM, PAC, Calzaghe and Vazquez on sixth right in front of Winky and B-Hop (Rafa 9th, Mosley 10th) Winky above Hopkins? Yes! I had him in front of Hopkins before there fight and didn't see more than a draw for Hopkins. Ok ... maybe a 115:113 I think it's somehow funny, that almost everyone deleted Winky from theri P4P-List because of the wide margin at the official scoring for Hopkins-Wright (way to wide...) IMO Marquez won twice against Pac (first 113:112; second 114:113)
I cant stand niether fighter so I judged un biased. I had JMM win the first and definantly lost the second.
