donaire KO darchinyan in round 5 but darchinyan went on to unify the the 115 division. Since darchinyan's KO loss, he went on to fight gorres in manila. KO kirilov and p4p fighter mijares. This year, Darch possibly ended the world class status of jorge arce

dawson cleary won 90% of the fight against adamek that ended in a UD win for chad dawson but adamek later went to move up to crusier, beat jalusic in germany and KO bell before fighting cunningham

i do not get the logic of ranking darchinyan over donaire and at the same time ranking dawson over adamek...

if you rank darchinyan over doniare, i think adamek over dawson should also follow

The problem is Donaire hasnt done anything since then..However I agree that Donaire should rank higher then vic. But I can see why he isnt.

Rematches for both of these fights would be great.

Right now Dawson and Adamek are both in the top 20 and comparable, whereas Vic is clearly ahead of Donaire IMO.

Why anyone would consider ranking Vic over Donaire after Donaire not only KO'd him brutally, he dominated the fight. Did Vic even win a round in that fight? I remember Donaire winning the first four rounds in my book. And since then, althhough Vic's competition has been better, Donaire hasn't lost a round since. Donaire was and will always be a bad matchup for Darchinyan and will beat him in a rematch although in a more competitve match.

Which is why the fourth choice is running away with it. The only thing that really is evident is that Donaire was much better than Vic and Chad was much better than Adamek. Other than that a magazine's P4P list is fraught with politics and absurdities though that isn't any different from the fraud that occurs with all the alphabet rankings is it?

Really no need for rematches in either of those fights, the winner was clear and very unlikely to change in a rematch...Its not like the guy that won pulled out some lucky KO or even in a close fight. both Dawson and Donaire dominated the fights. NO REMATCHES needed in fight like those.

    I agree.

But vic would still need to be careful not lungin in like he do. Cuz nonito aint no powder puff puncher like Mijares, Kirilov or Z Gorres. He might run into another check hook.

Dude you have to get over this Vic-Donaire P4P comparison obsession of yours. It's getting quite ridiculous.

As I have stated many times one defining fight does not determine how rankings work. If that were the case Jermain Taylor would rank ahead of Hopkins as a result of his 2 wins. Donaire hasn't done jack **** compared to what Vic has achieved since they fought, and this MORE than justifies his ranking above him. Just get over it dude.

Ring magazine already have Donaire ahead of Vic in their list (which I strongly disagree with), so just be happy with that and move on.

What do you mean did he win a round. Two of the judges had it equal at the start of round 5. Darchinyan couldnt have looked worse and he always used to start slow. He has changed considerably and would smack Donaire for 12 rounds straight. His fans wouldnt know him after the bull destroys the Filipino Champ. Remember Mijares !!!
